• Frame: Frame is solid wood. All joints are double doweled and screwed and glued. Frames are also reinforced with solid wood corner blocks under the seat. A solid wood stretcher spans between the top end frame rails and two solid wood valances span between the front and rear of each end frame at the top. One stretcher is centered on the lower end frame rails. Frame fitted with four nickel tack-in glides.
• Cushioned Seat: The seat construction consists of 1.5” thick high-density upholstery foam stretched and stapled to a ½” thick backer board. Seat cushion is attached to bench frame via wood screws.
• Wood Seat: Interior seat construction consists of 1-1/8” thick solid wood made of glued up strips of wood no less than 1-1/4” or greater than 2-1/4” in width. 1/8” radius on all edges and corners. Seat is attached to bench frame via wood screws.
